N-Litter week 3

We have had the last quiet week, from now on the visitors will come. The eyes have opened and the puppies have started to move more through the whelping box. The latter brings us to the next stage…potty training!

As soon as the puppies go to the edge of the box to urinate, that is the sign to me that they are ready. This takes a few days of discipline from myself to make sure they understand the purpose of those newspapers next to that lovely soft rug they’ve been on for 3 weeks.

The 5 little ones look like gems… 🙂
