Bye sweet, big boy Morris…

 In All kinds of

Bye sweet Morris…now reunited with your great love Indy.

Your arrival was not planned at all, but you immediately grabbed me at birth, it was love at first sight.💓

From day 1 you were my shadow and there was always something of you touching me but Monday my shadow and the contact suddenly disappeared, you clearly asked me to let go of you and blow out your candle.

Big in stature but so small at heart, a real cuddler, very social and always cheerful with a look that no one could ignore, you stole many hearts with this Morris and… you always remained loyal to me.

Our teamwork was always a pleasure, every retrieve was a party for both of us, sometimes to the annoyance of the judge. Not every judge could appreciate your working style Morris when, before you came to hand over the dummy to me, you first went to greet the helper and the photographer with great dedication “look what I found, nice isn’t it”, it had me stitches. Judge’s reaction “he has to go back and forth tightly, ma’am”… well man I thought, I’m glad that he can work so enthusiastically and without stress, it’s a hobby which we enjoy.

Together with Jolene we have traveled a lot of miles, it was enjoyment of the highest order. Wherever you came… everyone loved you, you made people happy with your extremely positive and not to mention handsome appearance. At the vet’s hotel there was almost a fight about who could take you out or take care of you, not only the assistants but also the vets all loved you. Not surprising of course because sick or not they could do everything with you Morris and you enjoyed all the beautiful ladies around you.

Of course, you also had a small negative point, everything that could go in or you made sure that it could such as cuddly toys, socks, etc. also went in, sucking on my mohair sweaters was a favorite, you always knew where to find something. Fortunately, it almost all came out by itself… the fact that Jolene found it necessary to recycle after her last litter was less so because the vet had to remove it regularly!

You were quickly forgiven time after time; you did not want and could not get angry to you Morris.

To let go of you now was very tough💔, as you know you weren’t the first this year and I hoped we had some time together, very grateful that you live on in your offspring who, just like you, are lovable, so cheerful, exuberant and be enthusiastic.

Many will miss you enormously Morris, but I really most…you were my great love and I yours.💖

Thank you, Morris, for enriching my life and many others for almost 11 years, thank you so much for who you were and everything we were able to experience together…R.I.P. dear, happy and big lad.💙🐾🌈
